Don’t read beyond this point if you don’t want to be spoiled. I’m warning you. Seriously, don’t. You’ll regret it. OK, enough of that.
Joining Nigel and Mary on the judging panel is semi-famous choreographer Debbie Allen.
Here are the pairs/dances in the order they’ll be performed:
Jesús & Sara - Krump (Choreographed by Lil’ C)
Cedric & Shauna - Contemporary (Choreographed by Mia Michaels)
Kameron & Lacey - Quickstep (Choreographed by Tony Meredith)
Danny & Anya - Hip-Hop (Choreographed by Dan Karaty)
Dominic & Sabra - Rumba (Choreographed by Jean-Marc Generaux)
Neil & Lauren - Tango (Choreographed by Jean-Marc Generaux)
Hok & Jaimie - Jazz (Choreographed by Wade Robson)
Pasha & Tony Meredith’s Assistant - Cha Cha (Choreographed by Tony Meredith)
Apparently Jessi won’t be on tonight’s performance show because she was hospitalized due to heart complications. It doesn’t seem to be too serious, because the judges are saying that if Jessi is well enough to dance Thursday, she will be ‘dancing for her life’ regardless of whether or not Pasha is in the Bottom 3 couples. If she’s not well enough to dance, she’ll be cut from the competition. I wish her a speedy recovery, and hope that it’s nothing too serious.
I have some reservations about these routines, namely the ever-dreaded Quickstep. Also, it will be interesting to see how Anya and Danny fare in Hip-Hop after excelling in ballroom two weeks in a row. Furthermore, what’s with Neil & Lauren getting the same dances Ivan & Allison got last season? In the same order and everything. Quite strange. I hope Jean-Marc got over whatever sickness he had last week that made him pick Queen for a Paso Doble.
Finally, I’m glad my girl Jaimie finally got a routine that I think she’ll be able to WORK. Hok should do well with it, too. Looking forward to that. Enjoy the show!
